Housing market is ridiculous right now.

I was thinking about buying something this year (it would be my first house) but the way these prices are looking I might just rent for another year or two until the market crashes.


If that happens interest rates won't nearly be as low as they are now. Don't wait.

This isn't 2008 where many of the mortgage holders were barely qualified for a mortgage note.

I spent from May to October house-hunting, saw close to 70 houses, made offers on several and got outbid on 99% of them. Finally closed in October. My point is...people are coming with boatloads of cash and great credit. He can wait all he wants, but these prices aren't coming down anytime soon. If anything, they may increase. Work from home is changing the game.
