if the pc has an hdmi connection, it should. Vga of course would look normal all things considered
i had an old lcd that kicked out 1080 vga to vga. beautiful and simple. newer tvs wont let pc kickout 1080 to your tv it degrades the quality to something less and im not sure why. for instance i got a pc with hdmi out to a tv and it just wont show 1080. tried it with a couple tvs same thing. just really obscure advice when i google the issue and its been a headache for me for a while. just trying to go back to the good old days of using pc on a big ass screen brehs :mjcry:

what TV? you need to look for some kind of "full pixel" mode

I have a Sammy smart tv, I knew about pc mode but im not sure you can rename them on mine. Especially with the ps4 being an ANYNET+ (hdmi link) device. I usually just use game mode :yeshrug:

Edit: nvm you can rename them. I just forgot how I did it :patrice:

im aware of full pixel mode. still wont do 1080. its something intrinsic to tv that blocks it that needs to be worked around i just dont know what. its not the pc because it gets 1080 on a monitor just fine. just not tvs.

once you get that pc experience on a big screen you'll never want to go ack to the monitor. it feels like you go into virtual reality because it takes up so much of your visual space looking at it you just zone out into it. id give somebody infinite rep if they discovered a solution to this.

so if Im understanding you're essentially over clocking the video processor to run the post processing effects so fast that input delay isn't perceivable anymore all while retaining that TVs image features running?

i.e. game mode is off and custom video settings are enabled, but response time is the same as game mode? :lupe:
