This may not be after all.
I did notice my trigger faster on PC vs GAME on my Sammy.
I have everything plugged into an Onkyo receiver. I don't understand how this would work.
nikkas late, been had HTPC, PSQuad, x1 and Extra named fo rmy 55 in.
No isnt it just renaming each hdmi input? You had em all setup as PC on your TV?
No isnt it just renaming each hdmi input?
like hdmi 1= console
hdmi 2-cable box
etc..
For all the confused brehs it's basically like this...
Hdmi1 or Hdmi2 for Samsung televisions naturally has input lag. I can't play first person shooters or racing games WITHOUT turning on "game mode". Game mode for Samsung TV's effectively reduces input lag to zero but at the cost of graphics (reduced Anti-aliasing, contrast, etc). The PC mode essentially turns you're big tv into a desktop monitor. I'm not sure if this is exclusive to Samsungs though but I read a while back that a guy tried the same thing with his LG television and noticed reduced input lag WITHOUT sacrificing graphics like when in game mode. I would like you guys to experiment with your own televisions so that we all can have working knowledge on the universal validity of this "theory". It worked for me....and @Rekkapryde . I also got repped from someone so I guess it worked for them too.
