No isnt it just renaming each hdmi input?

like hdmi 1= console
hdmi 2-cable box

etc..

They're saying that by renaming the input for your console "GAME" to "PC" on many smart TVs that it further reduces input lag by turning off ALL TV enhancements/adjustments and it makes the games look better.

For all the confused brehs it's basically like this...

Hdmi1 or Hdmi2 for Samsung televisions naturally has input lag. I can't play first person shooters or racing games WITHOUT turning on "game mode". Game mode for Samsung TV's effectively reduces input lag to zero but at the cost of graphics (reduced Anti-aliasing, contrast, etc). The PC mode essentially turns you're big tv into a desktop monitor. I'm not sure if this is exclusive to Samsungs though but I read a while back that a guy tried the same thing with his LG television and noticed reduced input lag WITHOUT sacrificing graphics like when in game mode. I would like you guys to experiment with your own televisions so that we all can have working knowledge on the universal validity of this "theory". It worked for me....and @Rekkapryde . I also got repped from someone so I guess it worked for them too.

No doubt. I'm not getting clapped first when and my opponent see each other at the same time as much this way (my ps4 is on HDMI 2).

I'll do another comparison later by pausing the screen and looking at the images on game vs pc labeled input
