I've said this several times before, I was dating a girl working at Pizza Hut in the mid to late 90's....they went from everything fresh (cutting the vegetables, etc.) to frozen and canned.

So it's not nostalgia. They changed their whole shyt up in the late 90's, which is why they fell off.

It starts out fine with a company building a name with quality product/service. Then the execs go "Yea these profits are good but if we cut costs with ____, our profits will be even better "

I was wondering why that crust and bread base didn't taste the same these days

I worked there in High School in the 90s

When an order came in, we had a thick brush like you paint a wall in your house with. There was a bowl of butter and God knows what else

This “butter” would be applied to the bottom of the pan before you through the dough on.

It was great, just can’t eat it now
