I still watch The Simpsons to this day. I've seen every episode. The show's falloff isn't as bad as hyped IMO, it's just its peak was so damn good that any eventual 'fall off' would be seen as some drastic thing. The show still has top tier episodes here and there to this day.

You got it 100%. That's exactly what happened.

You know how The Simpsons' crew and Family Guy's crew were feuding for a while? That's because the Simpsons writers were jealous. They felt like FOX was grooming Family Guy to take over as the #1 adult cartoon, and FG was capable of going places that The Simpsons couldn't. One day, Matt Groening's son came home from school and told him that all of his friends thought Family Guy was better. :russ:

And over time, they definitely stopped caring about writing stories based around the characters. Every character turned into a parody of themselves. Bart used to be one of the best characters, but they don't know what to do with him anymore.

I've definitely seen a couple good episodes lately. The Netflix parody two-parter like @Deltron mentioned, and the episode where Grampa got scammed out of $10,000. Homer got upset because he was supposed to inherit that money. :mjlol:

Before that, there was the Cincinnati episode, and also the Halloween episode that wasn't a Treehouse of Horror episode. But I think my favorite episode from the later years is the one where Bart takes everybody on a vacation and he doesn't want it to end because of how boring his life is. :wow:

I got Disney plus, I'm gonna check some of these out cheers breh :ehh:
