A Villa Straylight.
Beauty standards don't work like that, tho. Men seek signs of fertility: clear skin, long thick hair, curvy with a slim waist, etc. In this society, proximity to whiteness is sometimes important. Women notice who gets chose and use whatever tricks they can to meet the standard: diet pills, make up, skin bleaching, surgery, and yes, weave. I can see where men and women get confused about who's doing what for who, but I thought this guy broke it down well.

Men see feminine attractiveness from the perspective of judgment, while women see it from the perspective of competition.

Women do not make themselves attractive to attract men, they make themselves attractive to socially dominate women by displaying their ability to attract men. Being attractive to a woman is the social equivalent of having big muscles as a dude. Just displaying them acts as a deterrent against potential competition.

Quiet as it's kept, I believe women reacted to Alicia Keys like that bc, that's like a pretty nikka bragging about bagging 10/10 broads while he was technically homeless, broke, 1 mo. since his last hair cut, and dressed bummy. What that got to do with the average nikka?:childplease:

:heh:
why do women care about getting chose by men? couldn't they use other women's attraction to them as a barometer?

NO
Both are boycotts.
Both industries make money off the backs of Blacks.
But according to you, only the one that caters to Black females can be scrutinized for it's lack of participants. :comeon:

Is it really that hard for you to refrain from giving money to the NFL and watching games?

People needed buses to get to and from work to feed their families but they went without for over a year. They sacrificed to make a bigger point.
What is the purpose of a boycott? To hurt whatever you boycotting financially enough to make change. The Montgomery bus boycott worked because black people were the ones who rode the bus the most and it hurt them financially. The bus line depended on black people for money. The NFL does NOT depend on black male viewers. Boycotting the NFL does NOT hurt billionaire owners like Jerry Jones, Stan Keonke or Paul Allen. Black men compromise what, 10 percent of total viewership??

Meanwhile black women single handedily make the Koreans rich and they refuse to boycott the store where they DEPEND for black women money when they slapped up one of their own. If bw boycotted Korean owned businesses, then they WILL FAULTER. But instead of boycotting and going to the black-owned store down the street, the Asian man’s ice is colder and will give him the money after he slapped up and abused them. Bu bu bu blsck men and the NFL!!

It's actually a fairly good question tbh. Women say all the time they don't care about our opinion and that other womens opinions on their appearance and things like that hold more weight. So why are men the barometer and not other women?:jbhmm:
Do men get swole for women or men? As far as I can tell, they get swole for both: 1. as a deterrent to other men and for props and 2. for women, as a signal that they can protect = attraction.

But if a woman asked them, what would they say? Exactly. Same shyt.

Neither side is willing to give up their source for validation.

Bm don't see the NFL (and NBA) as just another sports league, just like the NHL. They see it as a source of pride and potential income for the lucky few. Bw don't see weave as just another hairstyle. They see the resultant 'slay' as a source of pride and potential income for the lucky few.

Boycotting the NFL would put pressure on black players and, through them, the owners. Movements start from the masses and trickle up. (I'm not saying whether anybody should or shouldn't, just thinking it out.)

:aicmon: That was your takeaway?

We are well and truly fukked. :snoop:
I understood what you're saying. Women want to be attractive to entice men, show they are a worthy mate and also compete with women while also getting complimented from other women. Men do the same thing. But men don't go out of their way to say that the things we do aren't to attract women to some degree. Alot of women do that under the guise of trying to assert that their identity doesn't revolve around us, which I get but it's also not totally true.

Sorry, I'm annoyed rn.

I thought yall were conversant with red pill ideology even if not actually id'ing as 'red pill'. Ok. One of the major differences between men and women is that society doesn't reward women for being upfront about their desires. Therefore, women are socialized to be more circumspect. This is one of those times.
