Remember going to arcades back in the day

My period in the arcade is about a decade ahead of most of the posts I've read.

These are the arcade games from my childhood.

Heres a fun fact, the Neo Geo arcade boards and consoles ran on the same hardware. This is why Neo Geo boards always had four games installed. You could also go into the dip switches and switch from console to arcade mode and back. This is both the home consoles and arcade boards. This is also why games ran you up to bout 200 each

yeah no one i knew ever owned a fukking neo geo...the only time i ever played was in the arcades or the local pizza hut that my family used to go to

Born in 1971 and the 80s arcade scene was my jam. Donkey Kong, Frogger, Dig Dug and Paperboy are still timeless.

Paperboy is a great game, I had it for NES.

thats what i missed about the arcade the most. if you were gonna be about that shyt talking life, you better be able to back all that talk up. seeing someone get fukked up outside for talking unnecessary shyt happened a bit

That Capcom CPS-2 sound

Theres a producer on youtube named WizzyWhipitWonderful who makes music using that soundchip. He makes custom soundtracks for mugen games and such.
