Dash punching, sweeping, groundpounding, and throwing fireballs with Jax in UMK3
I was trying my hardest to get a reaction out of teenagers and grown ass men from doing all this cheesy shyt in games. I was age 6-11 (14 when T5 came out) playing in arcades with nikkas ready to whoop my ass IRL over this stuff.
Part of the reason I attend fighting game tournaments is because that local arcade feeling I love comes crawling back.
If fighters didn't exist today, I'd quit video games in a heartbeat.

Lol, shyt definitely got real at certain arcades. For SF2 for instance, at certain arcades throws weren't allowed, so if you were a throw happy kinda player you were likely to catch the fadeAccording to the coli nothing good happens in an arcadeisnt there a thread where nikkas talk about rape and murder or drug deals goin down in arcades?

My top five arcade games.
1. Mortal Kombat/ MK 2 (I prefer 2 but played both) Easily number one. I spent A LOT of quarters on that game.
2. NBA JAM
3. Virtua Fighter 2
4. Hologram Time Traveler (I had to look up the title) It was more expensive than normal games so i didn't play as much.
5. X-Men (just didn't play it as much because there was always too many people around it.)
left off sf 2 because i remember playing that at home more.
*runner up. The bodega on the corner from where I lived had a Street Fighter 1 machine and I used to play that a lot waiting for food but it really wasn't that fun.

This is one of those times where modern technology kills the experience. Nothing hitting the arcade with a stack of quarters I'm sitting on dual 1080s and I still think that. I was thinking about making a Mame arcade
