Remarkable: in the first half of 2024, Boston has only 3 homicides. true black mecca (28%)

Maybe there are Haitians, but when I visited the Dominicans were the obvious ones that stood out. They were everywhere with their DR flags. Cars every with DR flag etc.
Latinos are all over the Massachussetes and Rhode Island area, might explain why Haitians and Jamaicans are fleeing down south to Houston and ATL as they're being priced out.
Latinos are the poorest group in new england

Haitian and Jamaican populations in New England are growing and there are predominately middle class.

These US crime numbers are not right. I know of about 10 that got killed this year ( 3 in one day) down here in this very small city in Louisiana the stats next year will state 4 or 5 for the year
Yep. Someone dropped over 50 rounds on someone right outside my door during the summer.. got all types of pictures and videos of it :picard:

didnt even make the news paper and cant even google it , etc

its like it never happened

ive had summers like the one you mentioned.. going to funerals non stop it seemed from people getting killed.. end of the year said like 3 murders or something for the year, im like how I went to over 3 funerals of people who got shot and killed :dwillhuh: and thats just the ones I know about :dwillhuh:

Im beginning to think these stats are of convicted murderers.

Your definition of livable wage/affordability is apparently different from reality.

i live in boston.

it’s easily among the top 3 cities in america.

great transit system, superb constellation of educational institutions, remarkably low crime, excellent night scene.

I don't know what you want me to say. You said cost of living is high, I said wages match it, now you're saying cost of living is high again but this time with articles. That doesn't change the fact that Boston has one of the highest average salaries in the country and the state itself is number 1. They managed to do all this while having UHC, great infrastructure, and the best education in the country. Of course crime wouldn't be as high. I don't exactly know what your point is here.

I imagine that several of these types of stories have happened over the years/decades.
This was from earlier this year

Feb 2024

You are correct.
Once they started going after the Cape Verdean gangs/H$M.. I knew it was only a matter of time the Feds would go after other notorious gangs.

This doesn't address the cost of living/affordability issue which is the only point I'm disputing.
