Man i was so hyped for this game seeing all the footage...
Screw it. Bought the game. The dub is horrible. They have all these name brand anime and video game VAs and all of them sound like they phoned it in. Haru and Ann from Persona 5 play the lead two characters I've seen so far and they're both talanted actresses but literally sound like they're reading a script in a phone booth here. Probably switching to Japanese audio.
This game in the first few hours is like 15 minutes of battles and 2 hours of cut scenes. Reminds me of how Xenosaga Episode 1 was where you just sit the controller down for long stretches. It's more a single path visual novel than a strategy game so far. It's more reminiscent of Fairy Fencer F. It's not bad bit I don't think most people here are looking for the kind of game this is.
I actually copped this months ago and I have no clue when I'll get around to it. It'll probably be given away by the time I do get to sit down with it.

I’m about 13 hours into this. The story is solid. The combat is pretty basic though. Overall I like it and don’t regret buying it. If you into low budget visual novel type JRPGs this is worth playing. If you looking for a GOTY candidate or something to blow you away this ain’t it.
Finally beat it. Took about 55 hours. The ending was depressing as hell. The game set up an unpleasant ending and didn't back down from it, use any copouts, or a deus ex machina to undo it. They do have an alternative timeline you can play if you want more gameplay but it's not canon. 7/10.
