Nevermind that in their primes, Ray could actually beat his defender off the dribble and create for himself and others, and was a way better finisher. And that the only skill Reggie had definitively over Allen was flopping.

Ray was more athletic, a much better defender, a million times better at finishing, could play on-ball much better, and the difference between them in Reggie's strengths(off-ball, shooting) is negligible.
