You don't have to reach back to the 80's, The Departed had a whole scene between Jack Nicholson and Matt Damon in a XXX theater.

Damn so they delayed the Bond film? That sucks. I gotta cancel my A-List subscription if it's still active. Doubt theatres will be back to some sort of normality until at least 2021 and that's even questionable. They'll have to make some changes both safety and entertainment wise if they want to get people interested in going again.

Drive in theaters are back and thriving, but thing is, they can only do a limited number of movies & in some areas winter will effect that.
