His first three are crazy. But this was my favorite album from Red. I dug how he handled most of the production too. He was just in this weird zone, but it made for some of his best music, to me. People kinda hated on this album back then because it was so dark, but I still listen to this joint a couple times a week.
All-time classic video:
Redman is really underrated now. Muddy Waters is his best album IMO, followed closely by Whut? Doc's Da Name and Malpractice are underrated too.
im taking dare iz a darkside over all the ohter albums btw
Idk about that. Red had better albumsIll tell you who is more underrated now...busta rhymes
Month of the Manoh ok i fukks with you heavy right now because i feel the same way. granted we all know whut thee album & muddy waters are classics too but i feel like dare doesn't get it's true due when we talk favorite redman albums
if i had one tiny complaint about that LP i wish reggie had the rockafella remix beat instead of the original that he made a single. not that i thought the track was weak but it just didn't move me like the rest of the amazing production on the album. when i heard the remix i lost it man lol. i remember the cella dwellas blessing that beat on one of those college radio stations and they got hype when the DJ threw that on, it was made for rhyming. not sure if reggie produced that too but it's incredible
anyway all that aside cosmic slop, basically, wuditlooklike, bobyahed2dis, green island etc were all breath taking man... listen i never left the crib without my dare iz a darkside CD and tical. month of the man was poppin back in '94
Brothers On My Jock. He destroyed that shyt. This is also before 327 people flipped Nautilus, so the beat was extra flames. nikkas don't rap uptempo any more, man. Everything is slow or double time...reggie's first appearance on wax of course was business as usual album
better verse: hardcore or brothers on my jock?
