Definitely a blessing in disguise. But the ones who voted trump already have U.S citizenship and are here to stay. They’re the sons or grandsons of illegal Hispanic immigrants. They only write and speak English, they are barely are fluent in Spanish. They probably aren’t even able to write and speak it, they are definitely immersed in mainstream American life even if they live and work in predominantly Latino communities. They follow the NFL/NBA/MLB, watch American shows, date Asian/white/black Americans, listen to English speaking American music, etc. It’s the Second and third generations of Hispanic-Americans who voted trump, not the freshly and newly arrived illegals.
