Just found a horse glitch in chapter 3 during a john mission (Horse Flesh for dinner) after you get to the end of the mission don't talk to Clive (guy buying the horses from you)

There's a White Arabian, Bly Arabian and a Turkoman, feed them until you bond lvl 1 with them, then continue to feed them until the horse icon pops up for them on the map. Finish the mission, you can only choose one of them. You can also purchase these horses in the epilogue but it's cool to get rare horses as Arthur early on :wow:

There's a YT vid explaining it

a lot of ppl felt playing thru most of the epilogue was a pure drag even tho they recognized it was “necessary”...

...I’m glad I was able to get some revenge but damn

He said a waste not a drag. I admit to ppl that I can only see it being a waste if you never played the 1st one

if we’re being accurate he said “waste of his life” ie time...hence “drag” as implied by the menial chores you had to do that he provided examples of

After such a high of a finish of the main story.. to go straight into that john milton bullshyt was ass cheeks and y'all know it lmaoo

Game still prob my 3rd fave ps4 non sports game... behind the last of us remastered and watch dogs 2

You can't waste your time on something you deem necessary :leostare: I'm not one for the semantics game but those two are polar opposites

I'm not here to tell you you're right or wrong on the game :hubie:

Edit: the whole game is a "drag"; don't be scared in the victory lap :mjlit:

epilogue not a waste no matter if u played the 1st or not...:hhh:

I'll fully admit, if I didn't already care about John, I wouldn't have gained much more reason to in 2, hence I wouldn't care too much about his whereabouts and the direct connection to the other game, that made me care about him in the first place:yeshrug:

Just like in 1 I didn't care too much about Jack, but I was up for avenging John; I didn't gain much MORE care towards John in this one, but I fw Arthur so much I had to get his back (he lapped John up in my mental power ranking, where John was my favorite character ever). That's just what I carried from the game, but it's also hard to imagine playing this without having played 1 as is

You can't waste your time on something you deem necessary

you absolutely can in terms of a story...an epilogue is “necessary” to wrap up a long story...but if it’s not done well it can be considered a waste of time in hindsight

idk why you’re compelled to argue this down...it’s by no means a new/unheard of opinion...that’s all I was pointing out to the other dude...whether y’all agree or not is irrelevant to my point

Definitely not "necessary"; you can wrap up a story however you think you need to. You can also absolutely hate something and still deem it necessary. I can admit I was wrong on the waste of time part; I shouldn't have spoken against y'alls experience/opinion. Regarding the overall sentiment of the epilogue, neither me, nor you, nor @Brief Keef nor @Magic's Johnson are right or wrong. However I do vehemently disagree with y'all regarding it, even as someone who rushed through it and stopped playing the PS4 playthrough entirely after it ended.

I guess they could have cut out the ranch and Beecher's Hope or put it in a cutscene, but 1. that's the vibe of the whole game (which ppl complained about tbf) and 2. that's just what John was and shoulda been on. You actually see the blood sweat and tears he poured into laying low and getting his family a better life, and it's the ultimate respect to Arthur's words and sacrifice. It almost re-frames the way I view the first game.

Also, the entire reason the 1st game happened was because of the little action you do get in the epilogue. Gameplay wise it's just an extension of the rest of the game

I'm curious what y'all think would have been a better epilogue, if y'all have some ideas (no :troll:)
