There is something strange about this game I just can’t put my finger on it...I like it but something is throwing me off

I feel the same way.
The game looks incredible, the controls are solid, the story is interesting, and it's full of fun moments, but for me, I think it's that the low points in the game can get a bit too much...for me.
I'm finding that spacing my time with the game out helps.
Trying to rush through the game ends up boring me. The pacing of this game is much slower than most games that are out right now.
It's the type of game that I find I enjoy more when I'm in the mood to explore. Definitely not the type of game I go to when I'm just looking for something random to play....if any of that makes sense.

Imma just say it, online is trash. I had a dream I was playing the new Battle Royale mode, running through the swamps at night. Woke up and played the Gun Rush mode in real life and I was like . The gameplay was much more fluid and fun in my imagination.

Not only is online severely lacking in content, the combat is absolute garbage. I have no desire to play PvP when people literally just L2, nudge up their stick, R2 for an insta headshot. What a joke.

Rockstar knew exactly what they were doing when they delayed Online's release and called it a "Beta". They knew in advance it would be trash, but they didn't want it messing up the game's overall reception. No wonder there was barely any news/trailers promoting online.

Imagine developing a video game for 5+ years with millions of dollars in budget, and having the audacity to trot out an unfinished multiplayer component.

I’m playing it slow, it took me forever to get into the game, i guess the riding from town to areas to do things gets old too
