You have to go to the donation box that's behind Dutch's tent and you can contribute items and money. As for hunting study the animals with your binoculars and hold R1/RB to study them and it'll tell you what to use. A long scope rifle takes care of most big animals, it's also good if you want a perfect pelt.

Donate to the provisions ledger, but don't bother putting any money into the donations pot. It doesn't do anything.

Some people have already been digging in the files of RDR2 and they found Jack Marston's voice from RDR1. I think an RDR1 remaster might happen.
