You don't lose all of your money. I certainly didn't. The amount you lose seems to be dependent on the bounty itself. I had about 235 dollars total and racked up a $90 bounty and ended up surrendering. They took $70 odd dollars away, which, if rounding, roughly equates to about 80% or so of the total bounty, which made spending the time in jail more cost effecient, which is a bizarre choice on R*'s end.




As soon as you can visit the town Valentine, the weapons are available for free at the towns gunsmith. They're easy to overlook and the game doesn't explicitly tell you that you can go pick them up. You get the war horse in Chapter 2 in an early mission with Hosea. He's in the gangs camp.

I might have to go back and type the code in again. The weapons aren't showing up as free at the gunsmith for me.

Gears 4, Batman Arkham Knight, Shadows of Modor, MGS5, and I got AC Origins day one last year and still aint even opened up out the case.

As of now I've beaten all those games minus AC (which is still in case) and the only new game I copped was COD.

So just finish what you start breh... then come back to this and cop it for cheaper.... dont let that peer pressure get ya

Judging from the opinions of users online, it appears that Rockstar has veered off too much in the "realism" spectrum and have created a beautiful but clunky game. Naughty Dog games have the best balance of incredible animation/detail that doesn't frustrate players when in control.

Stuff like this is why Naughty Dog is unparalleled in gameplay/graphics blending. And this is from an Xbox fanboy.
