hell yeah. This has grown to be one of my favorite records. 4th Disciple mixed with The Hitmen on production gave this shyt a smooth but deadly sound.

La could rap. back then he was on point. I try to forget his aphilliates days.

Yea and the sound was consistent throughout the album. City lights is one of my favorite havoc beats of all time.



Your right though, I dont look forward any features. It was him that made it what it was. This and heavy mental are the most underrated albums to me.

cool breeze- east points greatest hits....some of the best lyrics i ever heard

polyrhythm addicts- rhyme related....kind of a typical late 90s ny backpack album, but dj spinna's beats make it worth copping

Here's one that dropped in 97 but it's from a prophet who was born in LA but ended up in NY. He did his thing in the 70's. If you ain't hip to his stuff you should give it a listen, his stuff is inspiring. Camp Lo said his name on Luchini, "Keep your ears (something I can't recall) open/out for Roy Ayers...."
