Realistically, what was the last classic album?

shyt is a classic, cut it out. I would even go as far as to say thats the only certified certified classic in almost a decade. Its almost perfection in every way. I actually went to the store and bought this album it was so good but considering i own her whole catalog hardcopy i was gonna do it anyways.

it is not,..as a lot of the shyt on hear i heard better from sprinkles of experimentation by bjork when she was with her hubbie on her first record.

or ten inch singles that are obscure and lifted by esthero thinking no one hesrd that shyt before.

i already heard bjork make better albums in icelandic for xmas carols.

stop playing and get more robust listening.......

you hearing shyt like it before but i been hear shyt like thst before amd better, ages ago.

plus it was by a white chic and as a black performer. if you not surpassing a white chic in this medium. you can forget it as a draw,..or being called an innovator.

also,..like i said astra the weirding is the beat record in a long time in any genre, period.

to this day i've never listened to it but it seems like people constantly talk about it like it changed the game.

after we found out he did not write it,..this is no classic.

i called college dropout the last classic album in the true sense because everytime i play it it takes me back to my senior year in undergrad and i have memories attached to the album...the only album to come close after it to it was american gangster and only built for cuban linx 2...there have been more classic mixtapes than albums in the 8 years since college dropout though

is a four point you got in college by cheating a real four point...if the prof found out.

same here,..duke did not write one rhyme.

plus, his delivery and actual skill as a rapper was and is always lacking.

this is like the emo nikka version of overcast meets nwo,..

completely overprocessed because of a reality tie in.

that overprocesses a noob gateway market.

unfamiliar with a genre because of lack of mainstream permeation to properly judge it.

saying this is a classic defames and marginalizes all underground records and classics from the emo genre.

scapegoat and god's bathroom floor bites propelled dmx and jay to plat records.

an emo artist on rocafella would easily have gone plat as well.

as that is what happened in reality. as mainstream fans overprocessed and gave more undue unjust credit.
to an artist as a pioneer in a genre he did not pioneer.

how you nikka ignore slug and prop ye is beyound me...that is toy bullshyt.

also for nikkaz that overrate ye,..i know they were not around to be turned off by the likes sole, to sage francis.

to put ye in proper persepctive as an artist in his genre.

his is the top selling mainstream rtist in emo,..but he is incorrectly given precedent as the best in emo when he is not better than:

been about money is the only good solo record this dude has, or probably ever will have in life.

as he is tied with puff, manny and ye as one of the worst ghostwritten voiceover rappers in the history of rap.

hell nah,..my puppies got harder softer shyt than this record.

this was one of the biggest ripoff albums ever.

without a readonable doubt, i will follow up this album was wack as phuck.
no real actual detail and no aggression whatsoever. named after a movie that starts with an extremely powerful murder scene.

production and the vocal performances are wack and uninspired attempts to be cutting edge with a dull butterknifezz

shyt is the epitome of wackness and such a departure from their high four mic album,..it is a joke.

i would have to re-listen to that,...funny thing is i am listening to come and get it.

is dillagence the instrumental album,..not the jaydee beat cd,..but the instrumentwl album..if so that was a classic. the jay dee beat cd was lacking..

HHNF has some of the Neptunes best work and The Clipse best lyrical performances. The atmosphere they created on this album managed to be dark and menacing, yet flashy at the same time which perfectly suits their "high-fashion, jet-setting drug dealer" persona.


Plus the shyt just knocks



As far as Donuts, every single wannabe, YouTube-ass "producer" bites this shyt. Not to mention Kanye's beats on "Be" and "Finding Forever" and countless others I'm leaving out.

So it's hella influential, even if its for the worse most of the time.

What are your thoughts on Marcberg, Art? A few spots drag but it's a pretty serious project.

i don't have it as my listening has been made more difficult now.

is that ric marcianno's latest record,...i don't have that.

haven't given him a spin cause his skills don't really catch me.

if i grab it for a review in hindsight cool.

yet i don't think he has improved to go that far out of my way.

does he rsmp upnas decent as drag-on when he was on uncut.

if not i will pass on that too.

pendemic, profit and she's my mami were killing that garbage.

that was the worst record that year.

anyone over processing it is becsuse they don't listen to trap music or like what good trap music really is.

ka is cool,.....it is like a lesser skilled version of freddie fox's only ince used smooth delivery on the primo laced my thoughts.

i would rather hear fox spit like that record for his newdirextion in skills.

yet since he doesn't employ that vocal tone consistently. i wil have to wait and settle for the consolation prize.

i guess i just need more really technically advanced emcees to make me rate a record high.

or a more technical skilled producer first emcee guy,..to be appeased.
