Pretty much, at one point I was a simp years ago, I'm happy I lost everything my health, a job, money, women and had to rebuild myself by my lonesome. Majority of ppl r fake as hell. In a time of need nowhere to be found, but when you have surplus there around .

As a man its suck it up and get over it. That's why I only have a few ppl in my life and I thank God he weeded out the rest.

I have a small number of real friends I can count on no matter what. I have many 'friends' and acquaintances, but there's only a small number that really care about what happens to me on a regular basis. And those are the same friends I'm tryna move forward and build with. I'm thankful as hell I got those people in my life. For real, because I don't know where I'd end up without them.

I'm at the tail end of this process myself yo. The crazy part is on the low I keep trying to give mfs the chance to really be there and be a part of something. And they treat you like a loser for reaching out to them. I'd hate to get shyt rolling and have to classify these people as snakes and bloodsuckers that I gotta cut off after the times they actually have looked out for me. But I know once my ship has sailed I'm not looking back at all. I'm just thankful for the handful of true friends I don't have to question.

But it's the truth, and no amount of running will ever change that. It also doesn't help that everybody has an opinion of you. Once you do understand and come to grips with it though, I think you'll feel a lot more free. Cause if they're not in your corner... then, fukk it, why does it matter?
