AND THEN THEY TELL ME THERE'S NO AGENDA AGAINST KOBE........"COLORADO REASONS".
THEY DIDN'T WANT KOBE TO BE THE FACE OF THIS GENERATION.
THEY TRIED EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO SKIP FROM MJ STRAIGHT TO LEBRON.....AND HE STILL WON 5.
KOBE WITH CP3 WOULDA HAD HIM ENDING HIS CAREER WIT 7 RINGS MINIMUM + PROPELLED HIM TO DEFINITIVE GOAT.
HE ALSO MOST LIKELY WOULDN'T HAVE TORN HIS ACHILLES, WHICH MEANS HE MIGHT EVEN BE PLAYING TIL THIS VERY DAY.
THAT MOVE BY DAVID STERN CHANGED THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE OF THE NBA FOR THE NEXT DECADE.

Kobe wouldn't have got along with Paul. Harden allows CP3 to do him and play his type of game.

LOL STOP THAT.. KOBE MADE IT WORK WIT SHAQ, HE DAMN SURE WOULDA MADE IT WORK WIT CP3.

NBA owned the Hornets smart guy.

THE FUCC DOES THIS EVEN MEAN? THATS THE ENTIRE POINT

DAVID STERN DID THIS WIT AN AGENDA IN PLACE......HE EVEN CLAIMED HE WOULD LET THE HORNETS GM MAKE ALL BASKETBALL DECISIONS WHEN THE LEAGUE INITIALLY TOOK OVER THE TEAM.

AND THEN.......................

Nggas can talk that CP3 "selling out in the past" shyt if they want...but any real hooper knows that ngga was an animal in NO...:manny:

Another example of a ngga just tryin to go at it as a lone wolf....against teams full of too much firepower in his prime.

At the end of the day...no matter how nice he was...he was just a small point guard that wasn't gonna be able to overthrow great teams by himself (or with the pieces he had at the time.)

It's like KG wit the Celtics. It's a shame you didn't get to see prime Minny KG wit the Celtics... The media tried to dress it up like it was still superstar KG at the time....:rudy:but it wasn't that KG. It's the same thing with CP3 now on the Rockets...and your still seein an over the hill CP3 do work on nggas.

Facts. Bruh 6 feet on a good day and still got career averages of 4 rebounds a game and alotta dudes on on here be trying to shyt on him. One of the coldest to come out the Carolinas period and we done produced some hoopers

Kobe was :flabbynsick: when they tried to get CP3. Never would have worked. He had Dwight and Nash instead and still needed the refs to throw a bunch of games to even make the playoffs.

first off, he didnt have Dwight and Nash until the next season dumbass.

secondly, what does Dwight and a 40 year old Nash have to do with getting a 26 year old CP3? We're talking about an entirely different beast here

Third, let's say the Lakers get CP3 and trade Bynum for Dwight right after (which I think was the plan). This was before that phone call where Kobe apparently told Dwight to come to LA and be the 3rd option. So there'd be no tension, and Kobe wouldnt have to be Dwight's friend because CP3 could play that role and make sure Dwight eats while Kobe focuses on his output.

Fourth and lastly, the Dwight and Nash season you're referring to was actually one of Kobe's best seasons. It was his 17th season at age 34 and he had the 6th best FG% of his career (.463) and tied his career high for APG while single handedly leading the team to the playoffs and ruining his achilles in the process

fukk outta here cornball.....its a disgrace you rep LA :hhh:

No one had any idea that Gasol would be any good much less as nice as he turned out to ne.

The Grizz had Pau, they probably had their eye on Marc. You're telling me the Grizz had "no idea" about the brother of their best player?

Plus, iirc Kwame's contract was expiring he was making like 9M. He was valuable in that way but everyone disregards that. Grizz ended up becoming a pretty good team in the following years as well.
