cause he spent his money wrecklessly... he helped make hov a star then hov blackballed him in return :beli:

without dame jay-z wouldnt have hooked up with kanye... no kanye... no black album... no blueprint.... no watch the throne...etc :beli:

Why do people keep saying this bullshyt? :mindblown:

Jay "had classics" to Ye's beats before Dame even knew who he was.

Dame pulled the trigger on signing Ye as a rapper.... he gets credit for that, but that was his role in the company. If Dame passed on Ye, the rapper, Ye still would have made it, cuz he's about his grind and he's talented. Somebody would have signed him.

Jay definitely would have still got beats from him, cuz again that chemistry had already been proven. They def woulda done songs together as rappers too...How close they were and if they'd do an album together is too hard to speculate. Obviously not as likely not as likely as if they're on the same label, but sometimes chemistry just wins out (see Jay doing TWO albums with R Kelly)

He built great relationships and only burned bridges with people that were no longer useful to him...He avoided controversy and is a great "people person"..People that normally don't deal with Black people seem to like him..

Master P, Suge, J Prince, Baby and these other guys will never get on his level because even though they might be better natural hustlers, they are always gonna come off as out of place in certain settings...

Dudes ability to be comfortable around people that aren't from his enviornment is his strongest assets in business...

Something you learn as a Black male the older that you get, no matter how hardworking or educated you are you will never truely find success until people power positions are comfortable with you..You have to make them feel safe.....

This was an around about way for me to call him an Uncle Tom/House N!gga
Master P seems to be comfortable with all types of people and The Cash Money people as well, just that they won't send Birdman to the meetings but Slim and Vernon Brown. And as far as Jay-z goes it seems like he's still got the exact same crew as his 90s team, all the dudes from Brooklyn + OG and some other cats. Now Dame is another story (and the snitch), he's 1 person and from all the stories from everyone on the label from Beanie to Just all the way to Choke he was the problem.

Right... out of all the people Jay ran with in the beginning, the ones he doesn't roll with still are Dame, Biggs, and Jaz. He's still cool with Clark, Sauce, Irv, Ski, Bleek, Ty-Ty and all those others that we don't know much about... so it ain't like he's a notoriously disloyal guy or somebody who just left everybody in the dust and ended up on bad terms with all of 'em. I can't imagine dude just woke up one day and decided to stop fukkin' with Dame for no reason at all. And we've seen Dame in action, especially when he was at the height of their success... you can't tell me a dude like that did/said absolutely nothing to warrant a falling-out. I'm not even saying it's all Dame's fault, but I think it definitely runs deeper than "Jay turned his back on Dame after everything he did for him".

Yep, they see Dame and Biggs basically, Dame took Biggs with him cause that was his partner. So let's say Dame. And Jaz-O well, he didn't wanna sign to his old protege can't blame him for that. But then he started taking shots at Jay, allegedly "helping" Nas with Ether and shyt. Jay was still putting him on his albums even when he was ice-cold (no one basically knew who he was but was still on Jays singles) and didn't wanna sign to the roc.

But with Dame I don't get it, just cause he argued with 1 partner who he basically came together with to do business. These dudes forget about all his other dudes, the whole roc-nation team is the exact same team he had at Roc-a-fella + all the associates while Dame has his own team on roc-a-fella as well.

So why is dame broke now? Hes the smarts so he shoulda been able to eat with the millions he left with

he's a hustla , hard worker. but he isnt the smartest of people. he still hustles like a young nucca on a harlem corner. trying to hustle to much at once never focusing on one thing. the only time he focused was the time he was rich. ROCAFELLA records. then ROCAWEAR. then the shoes. the moment rocafell/rocawear fell off. he had the shoes, and he was doing 20 other things. its okay to have a variety in your portfolio. but you cant have such a great variety when you're the ceo of everything. you need to invest in other people and pray they have great vision. so you can sit back and collect royalties from their labor. while you work closely on the stuff you're good at. dame works like a inner city black dude on the corner "ay ay, I got dem new iphone 5's, ay, ay i got that new ps4 and that new xbox 720, ay we got bootleg dvds over here.and here's an OBAMA Tshirt for $10.00, i also do real estate, taxes, and i can clean your credit. "
