I think there was another thread about this. It's tacky as hell. But again, he's trying to turn his own wedding into a business venture so he can write off the costs as losses. He knows he's not going to rake in money by selling the e-tickets, but through that he can show that the planning of the wedding (vendors, photography, videography, etc...) were business expenses and write them off come tax time. It's not a stupid idea by any means, but for someone who is fighting allegations of illegitimacy left and right in the financial world, it just doesn't look good. Trying to change the world and help pull up a bunch of different classes of people who were left behind by the finance world is awesome. Nickle and diming your support base to feed your bride's ego and giving off WakeUpNow get-rich-quick vibes is not awesome. He's just mirroring the culture though; the fact that people need to see the big show, the rented Phantom, the tacky rented house, etc... to think "oh he's getting money" speaks to the world we live in. It's sad.

Give this man your money brehs. :snoop:

I had to quote this again just to say, look at the money stacks.

He doesn't even have the decency to get stacks that are thick enough to fill up his hands for the photo, on top of that untailored suit.

He's so schister and indilligent that he can't even be bothered enough to get decent sized stacks of fake money and a decent suit for his scam.

Even rappers have the decency to flash decent stacks when they're trying to portray an image, he can't even do that right. :palm:

This is normal for poor couples. I’ve actually known several ppl from hs who have these types of sites up

Not a big deal unless he’s rich tbh

Yea I always championed Jay on here but the whole timing of this shyt is suspect :jbhmm:Contrary to popular Coli belief, dude has a great track record and has been putting in work for years in the real estate game but my antennas are up now

You're a damn lie!

He asking for strangers to pay for their honey moon and activities.

Ive never heard of that. Broke people dont go on honeymoon.

they used this exact site too. id post a link to their honeyfund page but it has their names on there i dont wana put their info out like that.
like i said it's not uncommon if you're broke.. its the same concept as a baby shower, which is essentially "give us free shyt cuz i creampied my wife/gf and kids are expensive"

Well Jay Morrison isn't suppose to be broke. At least I hope he isn't while running a real estate fund.

They not referring to the wedding registry. Its about them charging $50 to stream their lavish wedding.

Meet The Morrison's: The Royal Wedding

That is so fukked up lmao. It costs NOTHING to set up a YouTube stream.. Plug in the laptop and get a decent WiFi connection you're good to go. Weddings can be long af and very boring, so I can see making a youtube montage for your friends that couldn't make it. But you actually gonna set up the stream, and peddle it to your followers, AND charge on top of that, when they done already made you millionaires...

shyt is sad, nikkas who prey on their own people are scum.

1. The Tulsa Fund has not proven to be a scam.

2. You don't have to pay to watch his wedding.

Preying on your people would require the Tulsa Fund to be a scam. There is no evidence that that is the case.

You're so dumb. As if a scam will reveal itself in it's infancy. :stopitslime:

It's all Black money he's gambling, he has nothing to lose, everything to gain. The usual in most scam.

And how will his gamble with 50 million dollars of Black money going to empower us? He's buying random properties that are most likely not near each other, renting and flipping them.

This fund has shyt to do with the Black Wall Street in Tulsa. It's named Tulsa fund to play of Black People's emotions. I would be more inclined to donate for an all Black owned resort or town center.
