The only reason why I'm skeptical is because its competing against zoolander 2 and I've been seeing non stop zoolander 2 commercials on TV and youtube. completely took me out of the movie and haven't see it since
I was feeling it until the Silver Samurai part
Oh THAT shyt was inexcusable but before that, that's a dope flick man. A nice character piece on wolverine, it moves at a very nice pace and it's got some emotional and mental stakes to it. And the unrated version is even better

Yes homie because one questionable part of a movie i have a problem with won't wipe out the first 2/3 that came before it. It's possible to like a movie or even love a movie while acknowledging it has its faults. the silver samurai is a fault of the movie, true indeed, but there's so much other dope shyt around it that for me, it can be forgiven.

I still feel the bruh Logan had that dope fight near the end should've been Silver Samurai. So close to being straight piff
Yeah the one with his girl's dad? Definitely should've been. I feel like he and Maingold were making that movie and then someone stepped in to remind them theyre making a comic book movie so there needed to be something big and stupid at the end

My thoughts exactly.
Yeah and like I said, I'm willing to forgive that because what I got before it and even the emotional payoff was well done. I think it's a very slept on one that may get its due in the years to come. Just that third act

Could've/Should've been doper, but yeah, the direct's cut was a solid 7.5/8. It had the makings to be a 9 tho. That should've been rated R too.
