I'm not sold on this flick yet. I like the R rating. Looks kind of generic however. If it's projected at 55 mill, that's good. But I can see it pulling a watchman and falling off hard the following week.

Not from what I'm seeing on the release date calendar. The Witch could maybe give it a run for its money but thats a strong maybe

Maybe not that much. It's still rated R so it can't get quite the same level of audience. But it also wasn't as expensive as ant man, which costs 150 mil. Deadpool is probably half of that or a bit more.

Yeah I don't know if deadpool will pull that much. Maybe 2 or 3 but I feel like if it makes 200 they're good. But then again, kingsman made 414 million so it's possible.

I mean..if you don't like it, you don't like it breh. But it's already looking at a 55 million opening and that could go up since we're two weeks out. So it's going to be a financial success. But if you don't like it, if it's not to your liking, I don't think that's a bad thing per say because Deadpool isn't for everybody. He's definitely an acquired taste

Eh,the new fantastic four was looking at a $50 million opening too,until the reviews it and it suddenly tanked.

I dont think the reviews will be bad though,not like it had the behind the scenes mess that fantastic four had.

When it is released and (say) it's bad movie people will immediately use it's R rating as an defense much like with expendables. "Oh you are a 2000 baby" "you are soft that's why you didn't like it" missing the fact that it was just a shyt movie all on its own. My point is why do the 2 things need to be mutually exclusive? Can 1 not want more R rated comic book movies but not be a fan of deadpool?

The reviews are sure to be mixed. I think there will be people who get it totally and people who don't get and don't want to get it. I like RT but it's not a perfect system.
