Read what I said above. I think to create stars you need to cater to people's strengths. Finn should have montage videos of him doing insane foot stomps and then some dope rap music playing in the back to build PPV's.

Canelo isn't a larger than life personality but does a million PPV buys and has a mystique about him.



Personalities have always drawn more than wrestling itself, but you can use a guy's wrestling ability to market him as a star.

i agree with you, his best era was when he first got his tattoo sleeves and was tanned viper gimmick going crazy,punting and rko'ing people. he has never been that interesting again but he was so good during those years that his in my top 10.

the board shat on cody, dibiase,drew mac original run not that clown trio shyt they had him doing. these guys are still geeks they want the rock styling joke promos, they want comedy dancing skits. when the most entertaining thing that comes out of wrestling is the authenticity in the persons convictions which often leads for nautral jokes and etc.

like someone suggested, they all need to write their own shyt and be more involved with their direction like days before.

Enzo Amore is a guy who I think can be a mainstream star just for his speaking ability. If the WWE let him write his own promos, he'd be bigger than he is right now.

You can have larger than life characters with smaller sized guys. You just cited two in your example. But for the most part I agree with you. TV ratings are down because they don't have have any compelling characters or stories. Nothing that happens on RAW really matters, and most of these characters just go through the motions anyways - why even bother watching when none of the stories have any lasting consequences and none of the characters ever change or evolve?
