Raw gets abysmal lowest non-NFL rating since 1996. What would you do to turn it around?

WWE also doesn't use their legends in a meaningful capacity at all. fukk bringing them in only at WM, find some interesting shyt for them to do and announce that shyt in advance.

Can't remember the last time Austin has been seen or heard from, WM32?

Anyway, you got all these legends on legends deals. Let them do something during times like these not just from January-April.

Austin
Bret
Flair
Sting
Goldberg
HBK
Hall
Nash
HHH
Vince
Rock (if possible)
I don't think this is this answer at all.

I watched WM32 after a 15 year sabbatical from wrestling

First thing I asked noticed was "These old nikkas still around:hhh:"

I'm not saying they should live under a rock but damn

You gotta cultivate new talent, and I don't know how but regressing back to the past is lazy

  • Push the ic title like its major, have it main event shows that brock isnt on
  • Give the main belt to braun strowman, get him publicity (have him beat up a celebrity on raw or something leading to a big movie release, and get him on jimmy kimmel in character, with the belt)
  • Build a david vs goliath feud with him and balor
    • Have balor fail, and form the bullet club to beat him up in a double turn
  • Have more managers to talk for these people who cant
This is essentially what I was saying in that other thread the other day

This shyt is really simple, Vince and Co. are just being stubborn

This. That whole list is a mix of either totally washed up guys, or guys that have gotten their one-off appearances and don't need anything else. Today, a lot of the former Attitude stars look like how Rock & Roll & Golden Era stars looked during Attitude. Eventually, you can't have stars of the past being a crutch for you. You WILL shockingly have to get creative and do different things. You need to evolve to continue to be successful, and the WWE has done very little evolving, particularly when it comes to the main roster shows, especially when it comes to Raw more than Smackdown. How do you come up with the CW tournaments, NXT Takeovers, UK tournaments, plus all the semi-insider/documentary stuff on the Network, then when you introduce people on the main roster, you still strip everything away from them that make them appealing?? Whoever mentioned the WWE needing to clear out the entire writing staff (specifically old dusty 50+ folks) and bring in younger in-the-know people. What does a 67 year old white man whose colleagues are basically the same know about appealing to anywhere from 14-30+ year old people very engrossed in technology and popular culture? This "creative" team is full of relics.

Exactly

shyt is a mess from the ground up and needs a huge fundamental overhaul

The shyt is old while lacking everything that made the old shyt good

They can still use older talent, but in the right way.

If they're gonna wrestle, they need to put someone over, Goldberg shouldn't have lost to Lesnar, he should have lost to someone like Roman or Strowman or something. Or if some older guy is gonna have a run, it needs to be like Jericho where they win some lose some, but ultimately put someone over.

Or have them as a manager to help get someone over, or as a commentator to help the action sound better (Austin is a brilliant commentator), a special guest referee is always a cool spot especially if done right. You could have Austin/Foley/Michaels (for example) come out to beat up the heels.... but shocker the heels actually beat them up and leave them lying on the floor needing medical help. Heels are put over and look super strong. Rock comes back and cuts an epic promo, someone like Jinder interrupts, they trade words and Rock goes to beat him up... but shocker again Jinder counters and lays him out on the mat dead. I assume Angle will wrestle several times, again should be used like Jericho, to win some and lose some and ultimately put someone new over; same for anytime they have former wrestlers being GM's.

You can use the older guys, just in better ways to put the newer guys over or have them in engaging story-lines that help the newer guys find their feet.

wwe needs to get rid of the brand split
they dont have enough talent to cover two shows

me for example, i never watch smackdown. ever
when kevin owens, jerichi, and rusev went over to smackdown, after two weeks or so i just stopped watching
then i turn into a episode and i heard stromen and reigns are out
who the fukk else is there left to watch
this is usually a down period for wrestling anyway
shyt dont really pick up until summer slam

but theres just no reason to watch right now besides boredom

At least MONSTER AMONG MEN has a decent ring to it :ld:

That and Braun is actually presented and acts like a fukkin monster, it fits his look and the way he goes about things.

What makes ambrose a lunatic? Never seen him do anything that crazy.

A lot of these nicknames either mean nothing or the wrestler they're attached to doesn't act in a way befitting of their moniker.

I swear, id love to see WWE go back to the days of the atttitude era with the current crop of talent

One thing that hurts the product is when you cant curse to drive home a point during a fued.

PG-13 era:

Miz, this sunday Im gonna beat your white hollywood ass and then take your precious wife, Maryse, bend her over sideways and show her what a real man is all about!
(Crowd pop) :krs:

PG era:

Miz, this sunday, Im gonna take your precious little Intercontinental title away from you and the whole WWE Universe will see how much of a wussy you are live on the WWE Network.
*Cue music*

Balor is taller and weighs more. The narrative that Balor isn't marketable is only believed by people here.:aicmon:

Just limit his mic time and he'll do well.

It's really a testament to NXT's quality that they were able to make Bálor, Nakamura and Bayley into these larger than life stars but once they get to the main roster, they lose their charm and become like everyone else.

What Bálor needs is more prerecorded stuff like the promo he gave Rollins before SummerSlam talking about the origins of the Demon King.

The fact that you got WWE using Flo Rida songs for WWE PPVs and not Kendrick, Chainsmokers, Cole, Travis Scott, Drake, Future, Imagine Dragons etc. tells you all you need to know

They used Weeknd at Survivor Series. :troll:

We should keep this in perspective though. The music still has to be dope. I'm not tuning into SummerSlam to hear them use "Passionfruit" or "Side to Side" in a video package. :whoa:
