6. Beautiful women. All flatland. Just stay yo ass outta Oak Park:merchant:
I was right in the P (4th ave park) for my homie Kurt viewing a few weeks back. It’s the hood but it ain’t what certain rappers rap about anymore. The shyt you hear about happens in the south, the north and sometimes the east. The P is hella gentrified now. Compare the area by Legion High a few years ago, to the modern day. Not hating on the P but it’s true :yeshrug: The hood Oak Park are streets like Santa Cruz and shyt like that.

@murksiderock Thanks for the tag big homie, I still gotta ask you questions about the origins of some of these hoods in the city :lolbron: But fr Sac is ok but there’s more to life than here. The bytches are bad, the food is good, but that’s everywhere :russ: And on a “woke” note, Sac is too watered down. Nikkas in my age range listen to these rappers from the city and emulate them. But that only leads to killing. 2014 is when it got bad bad. It prolly ain’t gone change but it’s a thought.

Sac is average to me. I'm usually passing through to get to Roseville or Rocklin to get to SMG or some of the shops.

It's a low-key chill city that you can relax in.
Stay off of Stockton Blvd though.

Black culture is kind of missing. But when shyt pops off, we show up.

Too hot in the summer. Where it's like 85 in Vallejo...it's fukkin 105 in Sac. Why??

Otherwise, solid 7.

Oh for sure there's more to life than Sac. I think I benefited from being able to live outside the city and experience other areas and other regions. Besides myself, two of my brothers and one of my sisters, the rest of my siblings have never left the city until they were well into adulthood, and most have never lived outside of Sacramento at all...

The funny thing about the younger era of Sac cats emulating shyt is that there was more killing 10 years ago than today, more killing 20 years ago than 10 years ago, more killing in the 80s than the 90s; every generation in Sacramento has been better than the previous one. Part of the problem to me is the cats the youngins respect (just take Hank and Mozzy as the primary examples) are in they mid-30s and promoting the shyt moreso than promoting change...

And I only use those two as examples but it's cats my age like that all over the city, for sure in The Heights there's cats in they 30s promoting the drama. Just think about that, there are mid-30s and 40+ guys in Sac influencing cats the wrong way....And to me, I just have a bigger picture view, I look at how the city has changed for the better, how its grown, where it's going, the growth and popularity of Sac's local hip hop culture and all that, and you can't be trying to keep rewinding and reliving the past. We all have that responsibility for the lil homies after us, not to get too much on my soapbox but I have two younger brothers from The Gardens, one is in Georgia now and the other ain't never left the city, and I have these type of conversations with them...

I think leaving Sacramento, even if it's only temporarily and returning later, is one of the best ways to get an overall appreciation for the city. It ain't The Bay and cats trying to measure Sac to a region multiple times larger with international prominence are outta pocket---->but when you look at Sac and where it's going and compare it to similarly-sized cities around the nation, you really start to see some of the truly positive attributes it has...

Cincinnati is a shytty city and should be lower on the list, that’s all I have to contribute to this thread. I’ve never been to Sacramento and honestly never have had interest in going.

Aren't you from Cincy originally? I missed that thread but what did you not like about it?

You definitely aren’t the only one:pachaha: Nobody really willingly comes to Sac unless it’s work or family

This is true to a point but of the many southerners and East Coasters I've known who have been to Sac, none of them had negativity to say about Sac. I've told people on here how one of my boys from Harlem loves Sac; I knew a chick from Boston who lived in Citrus Heights/Arden for like 9 years and loved it; etc...

Gotta leave Sacramento bruh, even if only temporarily (and by leave I mean spend time living in a different state). Californians are jaded and spoiled and judge Sacramento much harsher than anyone from anywhere else does...

Aye facts about Hank and Mozzy :heh::dead: They 30 years talking about “bodies” and all that. Lav get a pass because his camp be in Sac fr. Actually ran into Banked Up Elmo behind Starfire light rail on the 21st of last month he a coo dude. But fr If I do this HVAC shyt, I’ll definitely get out of Sac. The majority of my childhood is P/Ridge/G Pkwy. But my roots are Northbound (Kesner Ave) :myman:My long term goal is to get out the country :blessed: but stateside is more feasible. Shoutout my Garden Blocc kiwes, the Plaza, 3300 Northgate, Gardenland, and some 10-5 whiterock nikkas:salute:

Edit: young dudes my age listen to wack ass BOE Sosa, Uzzy Marcus and Bris. They influence too. But Mozzy and Hank definitely have the most.

One of my brothers was doing some HVAC shyt back in Spring while he was on that work project shyt but he dropped out. That's a good look though, that work travels anywhere and there's good money in it!
