I’m doing Oakland next week.

Put Sacramento on your list too...

They got some dank weed and lot of plugs on shyt up there..6/10

NorCal in general got the superior weed...

for blacks there are very few cities In USA great for them based on our economic struggles cause of racism and white supremacy.

that doesn't negate Frisco a great city
at least the old version was.

Sacramento there nothing to do In sac

sf 100 times better than sac

people don't have fun here

You can make the argument there are few places where blacks can be comfortable, and I wouldn't necessarily disagree with you. But every place isn't like SF, where over 30% of Black SF is impoverished and the intensity of black marginalization is at a frightening level. Black museums are struggling to stay open in SF. The amount of black owned businesses in SF is minute, the amount if cultural events dedicated for blacks is running towards nonexistent. Every place doesn't have these problems to the same extent SF does...

I've been to most of the major cities and I'm struggling to think of a large MAJOR city that is so uninviting to blacks. SF is the worst...

I'm saying this as someone with a fondness for it and would root for its successes for our culture. I despise what San Fran is now, but not what it was. The problem is that what it was is never coming back, SF will have the smallest black population of any major city in 10-15 years, and if you find something to celebrate in that, pass me what you're smoking...

I'm not accepting Sac bashing tonight lol. There's things to do in Sac, certainly if you're black...

Giving it a high 7.

If it weren’t for the hyper-gentrification, overabundance of all them smug, entitled, pretentious Cac and whitewashed Asian techies, hyper-marginalization and depopulation of Black folks, ridiculously high COL, very high homeless population, the disappearance of its unique quirkiness, changing character of the neighborhoods, meh looking women (I think the East Bay got the best looking hunnies in the Bay Area), cold water and shark-infested beaches, hyper liberalism, and vehement pro-fakkitry, it would score a lot higher than that.

What saves it from being scored lower is its revered food scene, the architecture and physical layout of the city, its year-round fall-like weather, surprising grittiness, its Manhattan-lite skyline, the Fillmore District and its history (especially as Harlem of the West), RBL Posse, dope ass institutions, actual wild bison roaming around in Golden Gate Park, it being a traditional hotbed for underground, alternative, and indie music, its storied contributions to Punk music, perfect blend between natural beauty and pure urbanity, how it looks like a classic city of neighborhoods (don’t know if it is nowadays tho), the uniqueness of the Tenderloin (shyt looks like a slice of Baltimore transplanted to the West Coast), and the fact that it’s a really small ass city but punches well above its weight against most cities within its own class.

Overall, I’m still down to visit this city one day.

Sacramento is the 36th largest city, with the 35th largest economy, in the 26th largest metro in the country...

You don't get as big as Sacramento is by having nothing to do, you gotta see more of this country, brother!

Most cities Sac's size don't have a larger metropolis an hour away from them. A lot of what Sac would have is stunted its growth and taken away by The Bay literally being down the block, and even still, I've found Sac has mostly everything you'd expect a city its size to have...

This x1000000000000000000000

I dont even know where to start and this was the main city I was looking forward to talking about.

I moved to sf a few years back to become a software engineer, coming from nyc I was thinking ok I k ow they wont be similar but it's a city nonetheless....MAN!!

  • Dumb expensive
I knew people making well over 6 figures and they were living with roommates. There was an article about people who make 100,000+ a year and they mentioned that it was hard to make ends meet and it's the truth. I know some people are like "struggling off of 100 g's:stopitslime:" trust me, the cost of living here is STUPID. I went to a resturant and ordered a salad and sparkling water and the bill came to $30..SMMFH! A coworker of mine was paying 3500 for a studio..and that's cheap. All of those houses that look like the "full house" house are well above 1 million dollars and a lot of them are just sectioned off inside and cramped. I once saw an ad to rent out someone's closet...CLOSET!! You are poor in sf if you are making anything between 50 and 80,000 by yourself... numerous people with good paying jobs living out of RV's, campers or even a uhaul truck

A 23-year-old Google employee lives in a truck in the company's parking lot and saves 90% of his income

I lived out of my car for over a year because I couldnt justify paying outrageous prices just to go to sleep...forget that

  • Everybody is offended about something
Seriously if this isnt THEE SOFTEST CITY IN AMERICA I dont know what is. I held a door open for a woman one day and she scoffed talking about "this is sexist you wouldn't do this for a man" I looked at her like:mjtf:..you dont even k ow me, I would hold the door open for anyone it is out of respect! Every week there is a rally about something...like i get it fight for your rights but sheesh take a vacation sometimes.

I was hanging with this girl and college football was on she looked at me with disgust talking about "you shouldnt be watching the nfl because what they are doing to kapernick"...:what:

  • The women control the dating scene imo
I'm all for women's rights, I dont call women out of their name and I have the utmost respect for them. However they have a strangle hold on the dating scene. A lot of the men out there talk like they got castrated, voices are super soft, bo kind of fight within, I'm like dawg come on you can still be a man at the end of the day. Also, where are the sista's!?!?! All I saw were white and asian women..sprinkle on some Mexican women as well but what i noticed is most people there are pretty much white washed and I'm not sure if it's in purpose or not. Lack of thick women too..ish got frustrating man

And this brings me back to how expensive the city is and dating..there are people who just stay in relationships because housing is too expensive

  • Food is WACK!!!
I dont care what anyone tells me about the pier, raman or anything else..the food is wack because everything is overpriced....got some Dungeness crabs and they taste like water, everyone raves about sf ramen but I didnt like it at all for how hype it was. One day i wanted to get some Chinese food around 7pm and the Chinese spot was closed...WHAT CHINESE SPOT CLOSES AT 7PM!! :camby:pizza is wack too!

  • Homeless people everywhere
I call San Francisco the land of the lost, I was just there last week and as soon as I got off the bart at powell st I see mad homeless people laid out on the ground as if they are dead and people just walk past them. Then there are others who are just shooting up heroin in broad daylight, others taking a dump in the street or people asking you for money at every corner...

There are homeless people on NYC as well but they look like they just fell on hard times, the homeless people in sf just look lost and have given up on life. But once again this is where the cost of living comes into play because I've seen a few people who were working a regular job one week and the next week they were on the street because they lost their job and they couldnt afford to stay in their one bedroom apartment with 4 roommates that costs 2000 each..smh

  • Nightlife is :camby:
Idk what it is but the nightlife lacks energy..I could go one but I'm just getting upset thinking about it

I by nature i am a positive person but the city if San Francisco needs some help asap...it doesnt make any sense that it is so expensive.

There are a few good things like the weather being consistent, if you like himo ik ng there are plenty of places to do that, it's a fitness city and there is good work life balance imo...oh and the dispensaries eventhough some are overpriced but I understand why (shout out to barbary coast)

I would give sf a negative rating but I cant..I try not to have any disdain in my heart so I'm going to give it a 3...

I'm getting upset just thinking about this city:scust::umad::pacspit:

Tell us more about the nightlife breh.

The city was the Goat once upon a time but that was over a decade ago back when everybody would hit the city for the Function because it was always smacking out there.

Being in highschool and sneaking into city nights /candy shop >>>>>

The whole bay in general was the Goat.

Now tho....:francis:

Had to leave because shyt is so trash
