:dame: gave it a 4 because that's the most heterosexual number. All straight lines, no curves to it.

This is the type of stuff I was referring to in the Atlanta thread and I knew it would happen in the SF thread. People have a real dislike for a city they don't know just because they are homophobic.

Anyway, I give SF a 9/10. For what the city is and what it offers. Right now SF is going through a rough patch, but it will fix itself in due time.
It's a unique and beautiful city, unfortunately there are not a lot of black people. But the reason for that is the same reason black people are getting pushed out of Brooklyn and Harlem.

But it does have a great black history.

one of the most overrated cities possible.

- doesn't live up to the fun of other big cities
- not diverse
- what was once interesting about it/its neighborhoods has been erased by homogenous white and asian nerd transplants
- shyt closes early
- lives off the hype of good cali weather but has by far some of the worst weather in the state
- too expensive to be dirty as it is
- fake woke liberal laws
- hella fukking taxes
- stinks
- traffic sucks
- there is a whole outter half of that already small city that wack as fukk (sunset, richmond, lakeshore/parkside/twin peaks) as well as bayview
- pushed the corny mofo's who wanted to live there over into oakland and fukked up our city

This x1000000000000000000000

I dont even know where to start and this was the main city I was looking forward to talking about.

I moved to sf a few years back to become a software engineer, coming from nyc I was thinking ok I k ow they wont be similar but it's a city nonetheless....MAN!!

  • Dumb expensive
I knew people making well over 6 figures and they were living with roommates. There was an article about people who make 100,000+ a year and they mentioned that it was hard to make ends meet and it's the truth. I know some people are like "struggling off of 100 g's:stopitslime:" trust me, the cost of living here is STUPID. I went to a resturant and ordered a salad and sparkling water and the bill came to $30..SMMFH! A coworker of mine was paying 3500 for a studio..and that's cheap. All of those houses that look like the "full house" house are well above 1 million dollars and a lot of them are just sectioned off inside and cramped. I once saw an ad to rent out someone's closet...CLOSET!! You are poor in sf if you are making anything between 50 and 80,000 by yourself... numerous people with good paying jobs living out of RV's, campers or even a uhaul truck

A 23-year-old Google employee lives in a truck in the company's parking lot and saves 90% of his income

I lived out of my car for over a year because I couldnt justify paying outrageous prices just to go to sleep...forget that

  • Everybody is offended about something
Seriously if this isnt THEE SOFTEST CITY IN AMERICA I dont know what is. I held a door open for a woman one day and she scoffed talking about "this is sexist you wouldn't do this for a man" I looked at her like:mjtf:..you dont even know me, I would hold the door open for anyone it is out of respect! Every week there is a rally about something...like i get it fight for your rights but sheesh take a vacation sometimes.

I was hanging with this girl and college football was on she looked at me with disgust talking about "you shouldnt be watching the nfl because what they are doing to kapernick"...:what:

  • The women control the dating scene imo
I'm all for women's rights, I dont call women out of their name and I have the utmost respect for them. However they have a strangle hold on the dating scene. A lot of the men out there talk like they got castrated, voices are super soft, bo kind of fight within, I'm like dawg come on you can still be a man at the end of the day. Also, where are the sista's!?!?! All I saw were white and asian women..sprinkle on some Mexican women as well but what i noticed is most people there are pretty much white washed and I'm not sure if it's in purpose or not. Lack of thick women too..ish got frustrating man

And this brings me back to how expensive the city is and dating..there are people who just stay in relationships because housing is too expensive

  • Food is WACK!!!
I dont care what anyone tells me about the pier, raman or anything else..the food is wack because everything is overpriced....got some Dungeness crabs and they taste like water, everyone raves about sf ramen but I didnt like it at all for how hype it was. One day i wanted to get some Chinese food around 7pm and the Chinese spot was closed...WHAT CHINESE SPOT CLOSES AT 7PM!! :camby:pizza is wack too!

  • Homeless people everywhere
I call San Francisco the land of the lost, I was just there last week and as soon as I got off the bart at powell st I see mad homeless people laid out on the ground as if they are dead and people just walk past them. Then there are others who are just shooting up heroin in broad daylight, others taking a dump in the street or people asking you for money at every corner...

There are homeless people on NYC as well but they look like they just fell on hard times, the homeless people in sf just look lost and have given up on life. But once again this is where the cost of living comes into play because I've seen a few people who were working a regular job one week and the next week they were on the street because they lost their job and they couldnt afford to stay in their one bedroom apartment with 4 roommates that costs 2000 each..smh

  • Nightlife is :camby:
Idk what it is but the nightlife lacks energy..I could go one but I'm just getting upset thinking about it

I by nature i am a positive person but the city if San Francisco needs some help asap...it doesnt make any sense that it is so expensive.

There are a few good things like the weather being consistent, if you like hiking there are plenty of places to do that, it's a fitness city and there is good work life balance imo...oh and the dispensaries eventhough some are overpriced but I understand why (shout out to barbary coast)

I would give sf a negative rating but I cant..I try not to have any disdain in my heart so I'm going to give it a 3...

I'm getting upset just thinking about this city:scust::umad::pacspit:

You need to work on your anger. I am sure if you came to SF before tech took over, you would have liked it. BUT tech took over and people [like you] came and took a lot of the soul out of the city. You can bytch and moan about the city, but you ARE a part of the problem.

trust I know and I had plenty of convos about it with the people and the city..I created a app for crowd funding for the homeless but there are so many restrictions and politics that it got frustrating. But you're right and that's why I didnt stay there because I was just contributing to the problem and when I tried to make some change people weren't with it

I am glad you left. There is nothing worse than being stuck some place you hate and you know is not for you.

My hope for SF is for it to get its identity back. There was always homelessness, but it was not out of control like now...there was no shytting on the streets to the degree that there is now.

But the truth is, SF is not big enough to handle it's homeless crisis or the influx of transplants like, say LA can. LA has a lot of the same issues as SF, but it's so big, it doesn't define it as evidenced by the contrasts in rating..
