Worst major city for black people in the entire United States...
Black mobility is atrocious, the overwhelming majority of black people in SF are impoverished. Have a grandfather who grew up in Potrero Hill in the 50s and 60s, when it was blacker----->that area is less than 10% black now. There is no real black area anymore, which is how it is in most Cali cities, but the general attitude towards black people is embarrassing...
I was profiled by Asians at a fukking Subway restaurant downtown, near the Best Buy on Harrison. A fukking Subway restaurant----->because even the Asians expect that all black people are impoverished and ghetto there...
The city is picturesque but not as clean as you'd think, it's actually dirty as fukk, worst homeless population in America...
I wouldn't live in SF if I made 5 million a year, I absolutely can't stand SF. BART/Muni is limited and on delays constantly. Way too expensive for somewhere that offers literally nothing to black people...
My gramps is from there and wouldn't live there again to save his life. It's worth a visit, because it is an iconic American city, but it is criminally overrated. I'll give it a 5 because it's a one of a kind visit, but after going 2 or 3 times you really don't ever have to go again. So many better places in California...
