DBZ literally lived solely off games and merchandise for 10 fukking years....thats Star Wars/Disney property level shyt...nothing else comes close. Dragon ball has transcended anime, its a straight up landmark in pop culture now

I'm still pissed how they bushed gohans entire arc

This was the worst part. It wasn't even the Great Saiyaman sh*t that made it worse; it was basically making Gohan extra soft so we could get a Goku and Vegeta rematch fight. Fight wasn't even that good

They should have kept Goku dead and Gohan should have fought Majin Vegeta

Skip potara fusion altogether and have Goten/Trunks learn the fusion dance some other way

And give characters like Piccolo, Tien and Yamcha something to do, other than stand around and gasp

this was my first taste of Anime outside of Pokemon and my gawd was I hooked .

shyt every nikka in school was having morning DBZ group recaps by the toilets before classes start

The Namek & Cell sagas


I would have gave them a 9 based off them long ass dragging build ups (but who am I kidding them shyts was worth the wait ), but given the popularity and the fact that even lil nikkas born in the late 2000s fukk with DBZ heavy, I gotta give em a 10.
