I get it in principle but my main problem is that Cole getting the belt kinda kills the promotion in the sense that there's literally no money matchup for him to have besides Omega (who needs like 6 months of strong as fukk booking to get some heat back) and going from heel MJF champ to heel Cole champ is pretty useless.

Completely agree. When MJF got the title I knew a long reign was coming, but I pictured blood feuds where he is the biggest POS heel out there. This face shyt is a good storyline, just so poorly timed considering this is supposed to be the window in which he truly establishes himself as the top heel that can carry the belt. This woulda been something to run after his title reign.

It's why AEW should never have 12 PPV's a year. Snowman is great with the actual shows, but the builds to the shows suck 9 times out of 10.

If they keep MJF a face, have him face Swerve at Full Gear with Cole turning heel to cost him the title.
