The real issue is there are basically 4 parties but people don’t want to admit it

Democrats
Progressives
Libertarians
Republicans

and there is a good chance in the next decade or so the splits will be formal
Nah we’ll be a dictatorship and one of those groups will become political prisoners. You can already guess which group that is. And there’s no difference between libertarians and republicans. It’s the Spider-Man meme. They work towards the same goals

Nah, there's really only one party which is the GOP (I count Libertarians as Republicans).

The Democrats aren't really a party, it's just where people opposed to the GOP default to.

It doesn't matter. That WV seat is gone regardless.

Manchin won't be reelected if he runs again, and if it's someone else they'll also lose to a Republican.

This is a response to the "Democrats have gone too far left" bullshyt narrative that is starting to be broached. Throughout the BBB flopping, I kept saying "just make sure you know who's actually at fault for this not passing" and that appears to be what this speech is gonna focus on

During her talk, Tlaib is expected to criticize some Democrats by name, and that likely means Sens. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.), who opposed parts of Biden’s “Build Back Better” legislation. Another featured boogeyman might be Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.), who led a small group of centrist Democrats who threatened to kill the budget unless the bipartisan infrastructure legislation first passed.

Biden’s “agenda is incomplete,” said Maurice Mitchell, national director of the Working Families Party. “We’re going to be clear about who and why the agenda is incomplete. There are particular political actors — of course Republicans, but then a very niche, small group of obstructionist Democrats. And we’re going to name names.”

Glad to see Gottheimer in the crosshairs, because fukk that guy.

Anyway, the progressives played nice for the most part. They caved on the Infrastructure bill and were promised more legislation as a result. They got nothing. This speech doesn't seem to be targeting Biden or anyone else who has tried to push forward the Biden agenda. It names some specific bad actors who are obviously the ones to blame for shytty approval ratings and bad signs in the polling trends. This ain't changing election results, you're naive as hell if you think that.

I have no problem with this, I'm just confused as to what they expect to accomplish by doing it.

Unless she's planning on emptying the clip and directly calling out their corruption, why bother? Who other than dishonest media institutions and those same Dems she's most likely gonna call out don't know by now the real reason why Biden's agenda has been tanked?

The only coverage this will get will be the media telling you how to feel about it.

I have no issue with adding gas to Biden admin bonfire. What difference will it make?

It depends on how much you like the GOP :yeshrug:

Regardless of my issues with Biden I'm just not a big fan of doing things that benefit them. Especially when they're already about to control every level of the government outside of the presidency for decades. :yeshrug:

I understand the sentiment. And normally I’d agree. This is one of those cases where I think the Dems are due for being called out.

Especially since they won’t be honest with themselves about how they ended up here. The average person thinks AOC is the reason the Biden admin is failing and they want to trot Hillary out again. The damage is done.

This is just realpolitik. They've already had this discourse with their peers and she knows nothing will come of it and she doesn't genuinely care about Biden's agenda. But her base will enjoy it so she might as well.
