Superstar
Wrong thread
It's cac-esque attention seeking. This gimmick isn’t working brother go back to the drawing board.
He’s right about MJ being the first of his kind. He was just in the right place in the right time and was 30 years ahead of his time.
Compared to the rest of the league at the time he was like something from another planet. MJ stans think that he would have the same effect if you transplanted MJ into today’s league. In 2024, MJ’s greatest plays are a forgettable Reddit post.

He not a gimmick
And current superstar is on record saying he better than MJ and would give him buckets
Y'all gotta chill.He not a gimmick

Wade and Kobe wasn't winning like that when they didn't have stacked squads. You gotta have a squad. It gotta fit around you. It's not just a plug and play thing and MJ in today's NBA wouldn't be a 3 and done player. He would be one and done. Would he even be the same MJ out of UNC under Dean Smith. He damn sure wouldn't have had James Worthy and guys like that on his college team as he would have been in the NBA years eariler. That's what makes the MJ shyt difficult because it could go better but it's far more likely to go worseY'all gotta chill.
To get to Mike's level of skill and athleticism as far as eye test and on paper dominance, you would have to combine Kobe and Wade to reach that level.
Not a single superstar in the league has been an elite finisher, elite at creating space, elite from mid range, and the best athlete all at the same time. Every great perimeter player since MJ lacked something that MJ excelled at. Wade never mastered his mid jumper, but was elite at everything else. Kobe was great at all those things, but took a lot of bad shots. Bron is nowhere near his peers at creating shots off the dribble. KD has it all, but settles for a lot of jumpers. Kyrie just doesn't impact the game like the others mentioned.
Nobody has the whole package like MJ did, and the closest ones lack something or don't quite reach MJ's level. Kobe and Wade are the closest. Luka ain't athletic enough although he can do all those things historically well, he's nowhere near the top athletically.
Agreed with most of this but the last sentence is too far. He’s right about MJ being the first of his kind. He was just in the right place in the right time and was 30 years ahead of his time.

Keep banging y’all heads trying to explain away greatness, sometimes the universe spits out a MJ that is perfect for basketball or a MJ that is perfect for entertainment/music. It will happen againAgreed with most of this but the last sentence is too far.
Yeah, before Shaq left LA Kobe was better on the ball defender than Jordan. He also had Jordan’s motor too. When Kobe had to score more points, he definitely wasn’t as great on the ball but his help defense went to shyt as his motor declined.Dumars, Moncrief, and Tony Allen were all better defenders than MJ. MJ might be the best superstar defender at the 2. I would give Kobe the m2m edge but MJ was a superior team defender especially in his prime in the title years. Especially in the playoffs when he took shyt serious on D.
