The team that we are fans of, extended our head coach who has missed the post season 2 of the 3 seasons he's been here. He also hasn't developed any young player while here. Nurse is better and doesn't have "3 All-Stars" to work with and is fired.

I can't even shyt on Toronto right now, because they clearly are more invested in making serious changes to move towards improving.

Nurse would be a great coach for a team like the Mavs.

He's one of the best defensive schemers out there and they're in desperate need of someone who knows what he's doing.

Nurse's schemes consist of selling out on trapping ball handlers, throwing out gimmick sets like box and 1s and triangle and 2s and hopes the other team is dumb enough not to know how to beat it by moving the ball.

This shyt got exposed by Billy Donovan of all people in that Play-In when all Chicago did was eliminate the PnR from their offense and had their scorers just isolate. Raptors were looking like some damn fools in that collapse. His "schemes" seemed like shock value shyt that may work sparingly but nothing to really bank on long term or in a series in 2023 and beyond.

Tbf There’s no real monkey to get off his back since they haven’t faced each other in 9 years… which was when Kawhi actually “beat” LeBron in the Finals. But since he was still a role player, their 1-1 series head2head probably means nothing to either on any type of oneupsmanship.
