Unpopular opinion, I love ATCQ and Tip, but I always thought Tip and the song drink away the pain sound somewhat out of place on the infamous.

Still love the song tho.

Ummmm....if everyone is rhyming like "and the chicken taste like wooooooooooooooood" and "throw ya hands in the air....if ya got clean underwear, somebody say...OH YEAH!!!" then you jump to Rakim rhyming like he did.......you'll get why he was that dude.

It's one of those you had to be there to see the shift situations.

Jim Jones

With Cam’ron I can at least understand that he’s charismatic but the fact Jim Jones had ANY type of successful solo career is baffling to me.
I'll do you one better and say Cam himself. I remember the hype he was getting on the strength of him being signed to Biggie, but I never saw him as the second coming back then. Really didn't even rock with Dipset when they were in their prime. I liked a few of his singles and that's about it.

Come Home With Me made me see his potential but thats the only album he ever really lived up to his hype.

I was never a big fan of Dipset but I could see why people fukked with Juelz and Cam. But Jim? I never understood how he rose above weed carrier status.

Jim Jones is like Tony Yayo, he hung around the crew but wasn't really a rapper but ended up getting a deal

Jim got lucky and got a few hit singles with "Balling" "Summer wit Miami" also being on tv "Love & hip hop" pushed his brand.

I gotta say Kanye. Even tho I liked his first two albums he was always corny to me and he has a terrible voice. Some of the corniest punchlines ever

Mayonnaise colored Benz I push miracle whips
:heh:

I’m the Louis Vuitton don got my mama a purse now she Louis Vuitton mom
:heh:
And he only got cornier the older he got. Great producer tho when he ain’t over doing it
i think the game would have been better off if kanye never picked up a microphone :hubie:

could have just stayed giving his best beats to better rappers, so it's not like we would have missed out on most of the music. wouldn't have inspired a bunch of wack, soft music and artists. and look where he is now :mjlol:

You must be out of yo Yakubian created mind with this nonsense. Joking aside, this is a mind blowing take. I'm baffled.

E-40 always been cringe to me.
Too offbeat and wack for my ears.
But I respect his regional legend status.

Gucci Mane is God awful to me, never got the appeal as a rapper.
His tolerable songs are because of the beats.
