I was driving today and pop smoke came on the radio and I was completely turned off by it. I just can’t get over this kid dying the way he did. So many other rappers get killed and I can rationalize and celebrate their music. Big, pac, etc. It’s just the manner pop he got snuffed out that will never sit well with me. Never enough time to make a real impact, kid on the rise, has his own sound, making a little noise in the city and just done... I can’t listen to his stuff now and feel like partying. The whole vibe of this shyt is just evil.
