I just hate the argument that rap music is the cause of all the wrongs in our community when the majority of rappers are only rapping about things they've witnessed or experienced. Rap music is consumed by all races but when it comes to the issues with our community, it's the first thing everyone wants to blame.

To be fair most aren't just rapping about what they've witnessed ornexperienced they're glorifying and romanticizing it. The youth listening to it in these neighborhoods can go right outside and participate in the fukkery as opposed to a suburban kid who listens tonite but would have to go out of their way to participate. Lots of kids just listen to the music but some join in the fukkery.
