All the Blood and Crip sets in NYC have some ties to Los Angeles. So it’s very plausible once they got the drop on him in L.A., money was put on his head to take him out. It could have been another crip set that killed him as well.

A lot of security firms in LA have been infiltrated by gangs and street nikkas...

Not to mention the bouncers/security at the clubs who stay lining nikkas up.

LA isn't normal. Gang culture extends beyond the streets..
They subcontract a lot of the entertainment security work to other smaller independent companies too that have less of a vetting system?
Like he was an up and coming artist but he didn't have the name recognition, so he's not going to get the same level of scrutiny as say, someone who they would bring on to protect high value "assets" like they would in the Hollywood circles

The only point I'm trying to make, is you could easily say ain't no new rappers outta NY like that. They all more regional than national or global besides a select few...
I didn't think I had to specify. :manny:

Rappers that came out like 10-15 years ago don't really represent this generation of hip-hop.

For the last point I disagree. The rappers in LA aren't getting deals they aren't garnering traction they aren't getting a lot of views. Roddy is huge right now. Blueface was popping but is more of a troll gimmick nowadays all his recent singles have flopped. LA new school scene is super regional.

NY has had new rappers come out and make a splash every year with hit records that go national. Also, two of the biggest underground movements come from NY whether it's Brooklyn drill or the new boom bap movement that stretches from downstate to upstate. These are two organic hip-hop movements, new energy, and both have been covered extensively by music publications and even on this board and have been recognized and co-signed by mainstream artists. LA has nothing like that, I don't even know what nikkas over there are even like nowadays.

All hip-hop scenes are more regional but even on a local level it feels like LA is being outproduced by NY and other cities. If y'all could post some artists I'd like to see it because the last nikkas I knew of were 03Greedo, Drakeo, G-Perico. Two of them in prison and all three of them were older dudes.

"One of the posts was a video which featured the exact address of the home, which is said to have been renting from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp and her husband. "

:wtf:Random af.
The property is owned by actor and producer Edwin Arroyave and his wife Teddi Mellencamp, daughter of musician John Mellencamp. Arroyave owns several homes in the Los Angeles area, and sources say Pop Smoke was renting the Hercules Drive through AirBnB. Teddi Mellencamp, 38, confirmed that a shooting had taken place at one of the couple's rental properties in an Instagram post.

"But authorities are now reportedly treating it as a targeted hit based on surveillance video from the property and Pop Smoke's alleged Crips affiliation.

Insiders who've seen CCTV footage told TMZ four men can be seen approaching the $2.5million home on Hercules Drive roughly ten minutes after people inside deadbolted the front door.

One of the suspects apparently walked to the back of the house, where there were no cameras, and entered before multiple shots were fired. "

To any of the people talking "Let the police do their job" in this thread. Anyone that is in the know, knew what this was before the police even started filling out the paperwork
:francis:a whole day later and they're just figuring out that this was an inside job- targeted hit, when I called it yesterday. :unimpressed:
Ohh so you solved the case now?

You know all the suspects? They’re all arrested?
You analysed the blood splatter? Got the shell casings?

Do you know anything about legal investigations? You do know just having an idea of what happened doesn’t mean anything. Even if you have a weapon it doesn’t mean anything.

If you’ve never prepared evidence for the court of law, then I’d suggest you shut the fukk up and let the professionals do their job.

But a lot of the shyt that comes from LA now is mid Bangin on Wax or ratchet shyt.

This is probably 100% wrong, but on his wiki it says the 911 called was placed by someone on the east coast.

Prolly bs.

Thats actually what the tmz reports said. That they called someone on the east cost from the house and then the east coast person called lapd.

East coast number or east coast? It makes sense if it was a NYC number making the call from the house

Not trying to argue with brehs but It clearly said East Coast number.

Call Came from East coast, someone inside the house for some reason called a Friend in the east coast instead of 911. Friend from east coast called 911.

Doesn't mean they were killed by LA people. You know nikkas go out of town and beef with each other, right?
