Yes - there's alliances in LA. He was Crip. anyone, anywhere can get touched. But being that he's not guarded as much as he was in NY which is how they laid the trap. and in NY he would have been in a guarded building with layers of security controls. This was probably Pop's first time actually being in an open house, to be honest with you. But in NY, there's bloods and crips that are not automatic enemies off top, reason why there are woos that are bloods and crips and chos that are bloods and crips. The problem is when the sets break off, as they do almost on a regular basis- dude that you're cool with one day, you can't be good with the next day.
