I've been sayin' this. And will immechiately go back to listenin' to music with content that those slain artists succumb to: slangin' dope, opps, killin' other Black folks and all other manners of treachery.

Or you can blame these rappers (who are grown men) for their own actions; who stay in beefs because they think it makes them look cool and "hard"...

It goes both ways...

Most of these rappers are acting up for attention

Same people who believe in the insurance angle also believe in the Illuminati and other nonsense.

Artists are independent contractors. Record companies can’t take out insurance policies directly on their lives. Lost profits on a half done album? OK maybe. Record company is having a big showcase and the artists dies resulting in lost profits from said show? OK. Both of those things are probably insurable. But it’s not going to pay out much.

Artists make much more money alive than they do dead. Unless they happen to reach legendary status and leave behind a catalogue like Pac or BIG. Which is like what? 0.0000000000002% of all artists?

People should focus on the fact that record companies sign these Brehs based on their beefs. And they encourage it because it sells records. And after a little advance they do nothing to get these Brehs out of the situations they’re in. And when the inevitable happens they was their hands clean and walk away. On to the next little one to exploit

It’s probably some standard business interruption insurance

the insurance argument is one of the dumber ones ive come across.

if youve ever worked in or around the insurance industry you would know they are quick to not pay for something...
...and if they see a trend they change the terms so they dont have to pay.

Kids love this drill shyt.
These rappers become hot in the streets and catch a buzz...
...then the labels come around.

Yall need to spend some time around young black kids and see what they're into...
...the culture is broken
