You talking out of both sides my guy. These dudes are not real rappers. Full stop. Some of them may blow sure, but it’s a bonus to the gang shyt they on. It simply doesn’t take much to make songs these days so they don’t even have to change their lifestyle.

And yes, labels 100% are targeting goons, killers, gang members on some lotto ticket shyt. They are more likely to die and if so that’s the equivalent of a mainstream breaking song.

But saying these dudes are rappers is basically validating the labels’ MO. We need to treat this how we started going out of our way to correct media and call far right killers ‘terrorists’. Keep hammering it home til the messaging changes. Even if it’s subtle. ‘Gang member who raps’ even. Anything, but we gotta stop saying just ‘rapper’

I’m only speaking on this case Jay was a rapper. The case in Florida about the dude who posted his location wasn’t. Jay blew and had a large following and was successful.

The labels sign these guys because they get all the attention from social media and YouTube. Therefore they’re the ones you can make money with .

Now some of these dudes deserve to be called terrorist. I agree with you on that one because they only want to kill and destroy. It’s not even about money and women with these fukks

I remember listening to his Forever 23 mixtape on a burnt CD...

JayDaYoungan wasn't bad.

On the contrary, why can't rappers just make their money and enjoy the fruits of their labor?

Y'all have enough money to go the BMW dealerships, a nice crib, etc.

I blame the fans for gassing up these rappers. Most of y’all wanna feel entertained and then when shyt gets real, you wanna bring out the crocodile tears and say "R.I.P".

I've been sayin' this. And will immechiately go back to listenin' to music with content that those slain artists succumb to: slangin' dope, opps, killin' other Black folks and all other manners of treachery.

Right. Most of these fans wanna live their fantasies out and forget that it's just entertainment.

This kid i know wants to be a rapper so i started managing him. I told him all these drill rappers/trap rappers appeal to major labels because if the die or go to jail, the label keeps the money. I don't know how people can't see this. 85% of these nikkaz just wave guns in their videos to blow up with super tough talk. I tell kids coming up to not do that.

People know how much I don't like songs such as "Laffy Taffy"(hello, @CrimsonTider lol), but looking back, it was a harmless, fun song with a cheesy ass beat:pachaha:)

Today, there are songs and artists that just bring on a death vibe/spirit
Entire albums/ tapes dedicated to killing the opps

Use to be like maybe you got one song going at ur opps but not it’s like that’s the only subject anymore

Entire careers spend on nothing but Revenge and death
