This is fire.
My only only issue with this is the cover. How the hell did Scenes 1 and 2 have such dope covers but scenes 3 and deleted scenes look so cheesy?
Edit: @areohbee82 take your pick on the covers. Everything after the 1st cover are alternates for Scene 2.
It’s dope how he flipped the same punch but into completely different contextDeliver us from Evil
“When nikkas get Wilder, You see the Fury”

I'll reply more in depth later but what has Payne dropped in 2020 breh? I wanna catch up. I haven't checked for RJ in like 18 months.Ran is my guy but Craven is borderline wack to me. Not that the music is trash but this isnt what production is. Its cheap, lazy, and watered down. He literally said he bit Roc Marci's style. He just loops soul samples, mostly sped up vocals and yes, some of it does get in the way. Ran rapping over a strict vocal sample. Lazy. Borderline culture vulture shyt. This is how it goes though. Once a few people hype it up, you cant tell em it aint the greatest shyt ever like people were doing with Daringer. Difference is, Daringer does have some dope stuff despite a lot of it being dull and boring. The positive is that it was Craven projects that actually bought Ran out of retirement. Ran said his juices got flowing again after Reaper's Hood.
There is a dope dude by the name of J. Arrr who also release an EP today. He released a single with Ransom a few weeks ago which surprisingly isnt on it. He seems like he is riding that wave too with drumless production so he hit up Ran at the perfect time. Good thing is we get more Ran so cant hate on that and now he will be moving on to new projects and producers. I think him and Craven have another release coming in Dec, then he has project coming with some Spesh production. Che Noir self-produced EP drops on Dec 4th featuring a track with Spesh and Ran.
As formidable as Ran is though, he aint better than Payne right now. the problem is Payne not as well known because he wasnt doing the streaming. Now he has put most of his releases on DSP's and his production surely fits him. The Director's Cut projects I listened to once or twice for the lyrics but replay was just not there.
Check link in my siggy to see other dope new releases.
Yeah, I mean Benny is one of my absolutely favorite emcees in the game but IMO comparing his pen game to Ran's is borderline disrespectful. I'd rather listen to Benny's music most of the time, but as far as just bars go? Sheeeiitt. To me, Ran isn't all that far below cats like Roc and Ka. Or at least, Ran is at least a solid notch above Benny.Benny has this problem, that's why I label him as less a versatile Ransom
