If you play with a chip on your shoulder and take pride in your career you don’t want to be called a poor man’s any person unless it’s the undisputed GOAT.

Matt Ryan. Ain’t shyt special. He barely has a winning percentage for his career. Goff has already accomplished as much as he has.
Goff has zero league mvps or 1st team all nba seasons, no OPOYs and never led the league in any category

Ryan had one really great outlier season where he won MVP and outside of that his and Goff's career have been pretty comparable
One season ain't enough to be calling someone a poor man's anything

As a Lions fan I definitely think Love is gonna be good despite last night. He looks the part, which matters. We know what not looking the part looks like (speaking of another NFC North team...). Love is good, could be really good soon. Is he gonna be a hall of famer tier QB? I seriously doubt it but he doesn't need to be. He's got a lot of good, young weapons. And we know what the Packers are gonna do in the draft: re-enforce the trenches. I assume Bakhtiari is finished. They're gonna keep making his job easier, basically.

Yeah, I hope he can improve his accuracy but I think he isn't being helped by LaFleur not running the ball more plus the WRs and TEs playing are so young... first and second year guys all over the field.

The OLine is banged up and physical fronts like the Lions, Eagles, 49ers are a disaster without Bakhtiari and Jenkins in the fold.

Investing in the trenches is gotta be the move... along with upgrading at safety this coming Spring/Summer.
