Even though it's fun to hate on Rudy Gobert, he's been great this season defensively and looking like the DPOY type center. He's been moving really well and back to shutting shyt down. He played 41 minutes and was +24 in a 5 point win. Whenever he was out, Tatum was going straight to the hoop.

The moment he signed that big contract, public perception was that he was overrated (as a max guy) but in the process he arguably became underrated as a key cog. Basically comes down to what monetary value does a team place a superior version of prime Mutombo / prime Ben Wallace, in today's space and pace NBA.

Yea, it’s just 1 game but very soon Ty Lue will need a coming to Jesus moment that Harden needs to be the full time point guard bc Russ and PG can’t pass for shyt. Their assists aren’t worth the pileup of TOs.

PG was playing great the first few games when he wasn’t trying to be a facilitator. Russ just needs to be off ball and a finisher (and not a decision maker) in the half court set.

Put Russ as the two. Use him as the roller

He was way more valuable than KAT in that game.

That could work when Zubac is out the game. The reason why we traded Capela for RoCo when Russ was in Houston was bc him + a non-shooting big killed spacing when he was off-ball, and he was too turnover prone to be on-ball. Similar happened in LAL with LBJ and AD.

Now if he’s gonna shoot the way he did last night, then it’s a non issue. Personally, I maintain that their ideal lineup would be Mann with JH/PG/KL/Zubac

4 things annoying about the NBA right now

1) A player takes it to the hoop, and if they feel the slightest contact they yell "AYYYYYYY!" trying to get the ref to make a call. Bro you're a baby, play through the contact... WHACK

2) At the end of quarters, players waiting a 1/2 second too late on purpose to shoot the ball because they don't want their shooting percentage to be effected. Bruh, 3 points is often the difference between winning and losing... YOU'RE WHACK

3) Player celebrations after they hit a basic ass three pointer. Act like you've hit a f*cking shot before. Mikal Bridges, Austin Reaves, etc., even old Wes Matthews, YOU'RE ALL WHACK.

4) Every team's offense looks the same. Dribble handoffs, pick and rolls, alley oops and floaters. Teams can go an entire game without ONE post up... WHACK.

I'm just old man venting... I'll be tuned in tonight like I always am :old:
