A stretch like this for NO is exactly why I don't see them as a secret threat in the playoffs.

Zion is Giannis-lite with his offense and CJ has been known to disappear in big games and who knows about BI's health

They're gonna struggle when defensive really lock in on them
Giannis has shooting threats all around him though. This Pels team has way too many non-threats out there with Zion. He's catching the ball 22 feet from the basket with a wall in front of him because Boston wants Nance/Val/Daniels/etc. to shoot. When BI is healthy, he isn't a spot-up shooter and only shoots 36% from three.

I think KAT would be a godsend for them.

Might be a wrap for him in Sac if someone comes through with a contract

Depends on how other teams view him. 6th man money is around the sweet spot for his services, anything more is an overpay.

Still doesn't help or change the fundamental problem that with that roster in that they can't play above average defense to take the next step.

It’s like W. Green just discovered you need to have 4 out shooters around Zion if you don’t want Porzingis/a help big parked on the weak side block.

Only took him until the 4th quarter of game 70-something of the season. A bit too late

Also Zion does kinda give up on the play/becomes passive if the first action is obstructed by the defense. Then just drifts to the baseline

Kings probably not making the playoffs with Monk & Huerter out

They need to be aggressive in adding pieces this offseason, they pretty much ran it back this year and fell off because basically everybody else in the West got better. Need to add some more pieces
That's going to require them going more into the luxury tax and potential 2nd tax apron and it remains to be seen if they'll be willing to do so. Even then, everyone on that roster is going to have to step it up the effort defense as that's what truly makes teams championship contenders.

That offense isn't as elite as it was last year to help make up for it.

Kings can only give him 4/78 since they don't have full Bird rights.

Orlando could overpay since they still have a couple years before their main guys get paid, Detroit got a ton of space & make all kinds of questionable decisions, & Philly could do anything & it wouldn't be surprising.

It takes a whole quarter before Willie makes adjustments. :francis:

Team's not even seeing the second round so long as he's HC. I still haven't forgotten his oblivious CTE addled ass benching Trey Murphy for TONY fukkING SNELL in a playoff game against the #1 seed. :scust: Guy is an actual make-a-wish coach, infuriating to watch him try to manage games. :pacspit:

Really pathetic that after all these years Giannis still hasn't improved hisnfree throw routine

Took him 9.75 seconds on his last free throw(used my stopwatch and didn't start until ball was secured in his hands)

when they opened up free agency by paying harrison barnes it was clear they weren't serious

they need to get honest about maybe selling high on murray too. but hey when you can celebrate double double streaks for a guy that got his chest caved in during your first playoff run in over a decade, you gotta do it :skip:

miles for malik. who says no?

It’s amazing how far a cool lookin hesi crossover and crisp hairline can take you, bc George is the least accomplished and arguably worst playoff performer of LAC’s big 4 yet he stay in goat conversations with the youth :wow:

Bout to eat off of how cool his game looks (while ignoring reality) one more time with that PHI contract.

Paul George is the reason The Clippers made it past the second round

Irrefutable
