Not to say that they will/won't, but they went through similar struggles last season and everyone was questioning them. Everyone should know by now that they don't treat the regular season too seriously, and they make sure to pace themselves to peak at the right time.

With all that said, the losses themselves aren't the issue, it's having arguably the worst frontcourt rotation in the league for yet another season. Even if they were winning these games, it'd still be an issue they desperately need to fix.
To me the alarming part is them being mid even with Curry. Their starting lineup is great but it gets spooky from there. Last year it seemed like their bench was way better

“I don’t know if Victor Wembenyama will be any good. So what he has a Kevin Durant skill set, he’s 7’5, and you can’t touch anybody in the NBA today which will lend very well to his game. That doesn’t mean anything.” :mjlol:

Only issue is he’s too tall. Guys his size always have durability issues and if he gets on the Hornets his style of play isn’t a good fit with Lamelo. I’d like him with Luka….not a fast break dynamo like Lamelo.

Did Ben Simmons pull himself out of tonight game? The fans are saying it was due to the criticism of him scoring zero points.

He’s not playing tonight.
He’s a coward so he doesn’t deserve the benefit of the doubt. A sore back is also the generic injury you can have that no one can prove if you’re faking it or not.

Weird half. Kept getting where they wanted to get but everybody hesitating when they get there instead of just taking their shots & can't get to the line at all despite staying in the paint.

Mavs are stuck on stupid.

They should've rested Luka on the frontend of the B2B when Wood was out too, instead of the backend where Wood is now back. They could've given themselves a decent chance at splitting these two games.

Giddey was struggling to finish early in the season & then seemed to realize he's bigger than most guys that are going to be on him & has turned it around. Plus his 3 point shot has went from awful to just bad :pachaha:

Plus he's been getting to the line for about 3 games in a row now which for him is amazing considering how little he's gotten there :ehh:
