Perfect clip to show ‘see, it ain’t Russ fault’ folk. Yea Kawhi sold, but Russ creates spacing issues. His man can cheat like hell and close angles available to Kawhi….add in that Russ is hard headed so he’s hovering around like he wants the rock.

It’s called 1-4 flat for a reason. Morris has an excuse to be up high bc he’s setting a screen. But Russ? He serves no purpose whatsoever on the court there. Not a shooter to spot and kick, not a big to get an offensive rebound. Yea they had no timeouts to sub him out but he wouldn’t have been subbed out anyway. Bc he’s Russ and it’d be a story if he ain’t closing
